About

We are not affiliated directly with Diamond Aircraft Industries, but we work closely with the company to get their news and information to the aviators that fly their aircraft. The founders wanted to forge a strong bond and relationship with Diamond Aircraft Industries and as Diamond aircraft owners themselves they were instrumental in contacting the public relations people at the factory.Within a few weeks of inception we had a substantial number of new members and a direct communication link to the factory in London, Ontario. We communicate with technical support and public relations people from Diamond Aircraft Industries on a regular basis. We held the DAA’s official launch on Friday evening, July 27, 2007 during DiamondFest at the EAA AirVenture Exhibition in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In November 2007 we acquired the Diamond Owners and Pilots Association and brought their membership base into ours. The Diamond Aviators Association is a community, and is a repository for the knowledge gathered by that community.

  • The groupĀ is maintained and run by Diamond owners and we are comitted to returning as much of teh profits back into the site as possibleĀ so that the maximum value of the membership dues and sponsorships is returned to the aviators.
  • We worked with the Diamond Aircraft Industries from the outset so that the Association is an asset for DAI as well as for Diamond aviators.
  • Threads will be edited to some degree to make sure that the site remains beneficial to both Owner’s and DAI. (See our Guide for Members.)
  • We will be focused on pilots learning to fly the planes safely, and on getting information to the owners about their planes.

We hope you will join us!
